Selling a property as part of an estate can be more complicated than a traditional real estate transaction. I understand the unique challenges involved and work directly with the estate’s attorney, personal representative, executor, administrator, and other authorized parties to help make the real estate portion of the process as smooth as possible.
I am well-versed in working with properties involved in probate and estate matters, including situations involving multiple heirs, court requirements, property preparation, valuation, and the sale of inherited real estate.
My role is to handle the real estate side of the transaction while working within the instructions and requirements established by the estate and its legal counsel. This can include determining an appropriate market value, preparing the property for sale, coordinating showings and inspections, marketing the property, negotiating offers, and guiding the transaction through closing.
Every estate is different, and probate laws and procedures can vary depending on the circumstances and jurisdiction. I work closely with the appropriate attorney throughout the process so that the sale is handled according to the estate’s legal requirements.
